Village Bakers LGBT+ Social Group was founded in 2012 with a simple belief that food is more than just fuel for life, food forms the fabric of life, food can bring communities together, sharing food with each other is seen as an act of kindness in cultures around the world.

Village Bakers provides the opportunity to share home baked cakes, pies and savouries in a safe inclusive environment, bakers of all abilities and background are welcome.

At our monthly socials, our bakers bake at home, bring their bakes along and share with the group, there is no judging of the bakes all contributions are appreciated. If you don’t fancy baking than you welcome to just come and sample the homemade bakes.

After attending three of our monthly socials, you will be able to become a member of the social group, allowing you qualify for our membership card and say in how our group is run.

In addition to the monthly socials we hold regular events including dinners, pride events, picnics, courses and a Great Village Bake Off competition.

So its really simple, Bake what ever you want at home, Bring it along to our monthly social, Share it with your fellow bakers and enjoy.
